ABOUT THIS COURSE
Audit Level 4 is designed for experienced auditors who are ready to elevate their risk assessment, communication, technology, and review skills. The course uses case-based learning to strengthen participants’ ability to assess and respond to financial statement-level and assertion-level risks, including fraud risks. Participants explore general IT controls, audit data analytics, journal entry testing, auditing estimates, and reporting and wrap-up responsibilities. The course also emphasizes high-impact communication through business writing, persuasive presentations, team collaboration, and communications with those charged with governance. Leadership-focused modules address motivation, professional skepticism, intentional curiosity, and the participant’s evolving role in the profession. By combining technical depth with communication and team effectiveness, this course helps participants drive audit quality and communicate more confidently with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Analyze financial statement-level, assertion-level, significant, and fraud risks to develop appropriate audit responses and documentation.
- Apply professional standards and audit quality practices when addressing IT controls, audit data analytics, estimates, journal entries, reporting, and wrap-up matters.
