ABOUT THIS COURSE
Designed for professionals beginning their career in auditing, DAS Audit Level 1 provides practical training on performing and documenting audit procedures in the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS) and covers professional development skills critical to success in the profession. Throughout the course, participants examine the “why” behind the procedures, enabling them to think critically and begin to exercise professional judgment. Through the use of a case study based on a real small business, participants will have multiple opportunities to practice completing and documenting audit procedures in DAS.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Describe the DAS audit process, from data import and understanding the entity through risk assessment, execution, wrap-up, and reporting.
- Perform audit procedures in DAS (including vouching, tracing, confirming, inspecting, and observing) and create reviewer-ready workpaper documentation.
- Create effective documentation for specific audit areas in DAS, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, PP&E, and inventory.
- Demonstrate professional presence and effective communication skills, including active listening and responsible use of AI tools.
