ABOUT THIS COURSE
Audit Level 3 prepares auditors to transition into senior or in-charge responsibilities by strengthening their ability to supervise work, evaluate documentation, and connect audit planning decisions to execution. Participants revisit core risk assessment concepts with greater emphasis on understanding the entity, evaluating activity-level controls, assessing assertion-level risks, and designing responsive audit procedures. The course also develops practical project management, time management, delegation, teaching, and feedback skills needed to lead effectively. Technical modules address substantive analytical procedures, accounting research using AI and automation tools, efficient review of audit documentation, and group audit considerations under SAS 149. Participants explore how digital fluency and technology can improve both audit execution and supervision. This course helps emerging engagement leaders think like reviewers, communicate expectations clearly, and promote quality throughout the audit process.
