ABOUT THIS COURSE

DAS Audit Level 3 is designed for auditors making the critical transition to the role of Senior or In-Charge on the engagement team. This program focuses on new responsibilities relevant to your developing leaders, including supervision, delegation, project management, and workpaper review skills. DAS Audit Level 3 also covers technical topics relevant to in-charge auditors, including the flow of a DAS audit, evaluating activity level controls, assessing and responding to risk, and journal entry testing. This program will challenge participants to consider the full audit process as they step into a leadership role on the audit team.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Create and review effective documentation in DAS related to activity-level and automated controls, assertion-level risk, and risk responses in DAS.
  • Design substantive analytical procedures and journal entry testing techniques with greater precision, leveraging DAS dashboards and AI-assisted research tools.
  • Supervise and develop staff by providing feedback and using effective techniques for teaching and delegating.

Course Prerequisite

20-20’s DAS Audit curriculum incorporates the use of the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS).  All attendees must have an active subscription to DAS prior to and during the course.

20-20’s programs do not replace implementation training for DAS and should be attended after initial introduction to the tool.
