DESCRIPTION
This module will provide practical tips and behaviors that can be used to strengthen verbal, nonverbal and written communication. The module will also provide an overview of active listening and provide time for participants to practice selecting the correct communication method and overcoming barriers common in communication.

- Identify effective communication and active listening skills along with their benefits and relationship to day-to-day activities
- Define written and verbal communication expectations and their application in your role
- Recognize your “go-to” communication style and recognize situations where you should flex that style to enhance communication effectiveness
