DESCRIPTION
Using their previous Audit experience, participants will take their understanding of basic Audit procedures to a deeper level and recognize that there is more to auditing than simply executing specific instructions. Specifically, this module allows the participants to explore three Audit areas in more depth via small group discussion: cash, accounts payable and fixed assets.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Recognize more subtle and advanced issues that may arise when auditing cash, accounts receivable and PP&E
• Describe potential Audit responses to use when advanced issues arise in cash, accounts receivable, and PP&E
• Use prior Audit experience to understand the purpose of procedures commonly performed
