DESCRIPTION
In this module, participants will discuss the use of automated tools and techniques in auditing. The session will include discussion of data visualization techniques and data analytics-based approaches to reduce the reliance on traditional sampling.

- Define Audit Analytics (“ADA”) and how ADAs are used in the audit process
- Describe the value of incorporating data visualization techniques into audit procedures
- Design alternative procedures other than sampling for substantive testing using data analytics
