ABOUT THIS COURSE

DAS Audit Level 4 is designed for auditors with supervision or in-charge experience. Opening with a practical, hands-on case study related to risk assessment in DAS, this program challenges participants to develop a deeper understanding of “the why” throughout the audit process. Technical topics covered include assessing and responding to risks of material misstatement, including risks arising from the use of IT and risks arising from deficiencies in entity-level controls. The program also instructs participants on how to use research-based techniques for creating a motivated team environment, communicating with team members, and designing impactful business presentations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Create comprehensive risk assessment documentation in DAS using engagement-specific information to identify, assess, and respond to risks.
  • Evaluate audit documentation during reporting and wrap-up to determine whether the evidence obtained supports the conclusions reached and meets professional standards.
  • Craft high-impact written and verbal communications, including business presentations and collaborating across teams.

Course Prerequisite

20-20’s DAS Audit curriculum incorporates the use of the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS).  All attendees must have an active subscription to DAS prior to and during the course.

20-20’s programs do not replace implementation training for DAS and should be attended after initial introduction to the tool.
