Description
This interactive module focuses on the essential supervision and feedback skills needed by audit in-charges and team leaders in government audits. Participants will explore the Blanchard Situational Leadership Model and examine how different tasks, individuals, and circumstances may call for different approaches to supervision and leadership.
The module connects the Situational Leadership Model to the role of an in-charge in the audit profession, helping participants consider how effective supervision can support team performance and development. Participants will also explore the benefits and goals of providing timely, constructive, and effective on-the-job feedback.
Through classroom discussion and practical application, participants will learn a simple four-step process for delivering feedback in government audit team scenarios. The module will also provide strategies for improving the effectiveness of feedback and supporting the continued development of team members.
