DESCRIPTION

This interactive module uses guided exercises and case studies to explore strategic retirement income planning across a range of client circumstances. Participants brainstorm traditional and nontraditional retirement income sources and examine how different income “buckets” are taxed, including pre-tax, after-tax, and tax-free treatment. The session includes high-level discussion of relevant retirement-related provisions of the SECURE 2.0 Act and key considerations surrounding Social Security timing. Through varied client fact patterns, participants analyze and develop diversified retirement income strategies tailored to differing tax profiles, financial goals, and planning considerations.
