DESCRIPTION
Technical skills alone are not enough for success. This course is designed to enhance the participants’ emotional intelligence (EI), empowering them to build stronger relationships with clients and colleagues. The course will discuss the core components of EI; self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management. Through a combination of instruction, exercises, and assessment, participants will develop a baseline of their EI and develop strategies to improve their EI.

- Recognize emotions to understand their impact on oneself and others
- Develop strategies to manage stress, regulate emotions, and maintain composure when conflict arises
- Cultivate empathy by actively listening, understanding other perspectives, and showing compassion when dealing with others
