DESCRIPTION
This module addresses when and how interim periods can be used to complete risk assessment procedures, tests of controls, and substantive procedures. Participants will learn techniques for performing control testing at interim and considering the impact of control testing on the reduction of other substantive procedures.

- Recognize common opportunities to complete procedures at interim date
- Describe the requirements for completing additional work on periods from interim testing procedures to final, with an emphasis on control testing options
