DESCRIPTION
Using their previous audit experience, participants will deepen their understanding of basic audit procedures and recognize that there is more to auditing than simply executing specific instructions. Specifically, this module allows the participants to explore three audit areas in more depth via small group discussion and activities: cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets.

- Recognize advanced issues that may arise when auditing cash, accounts receivable, and PP&E
- Describe potential audit responses to use when advanced issues arise in cash, accounts receivable, and PP&E
- Use prior audit experience to understand the purpose of audit procedures performed in response to advanced issues
