DESCRIPTION

This module serves as an introduction to the Audit Level 1 training course, the instructor, and the participants, as appropriate. This module will familiarize participants with the topics to be covered during the course and establish expectations of both the instructor and the participants. Additionally, participants will discuss the importance of clear communication, both within their engagement team and with clients.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Provide foundational information about critical new hire topics, such as the audit process, risks, procedures, and professional standards
  • Provide opportunities to practice procedures commonly completed by audit staff, including documentation requirements
  • Recognize the importance of effective communication skills when completing an audit, including techniques to develop and improve these skills
