DAS Audit Level 5

DAS Audit Level 5 is designed to advance the skills of experienced senior associates or supervisors – and begin the development of manager-level skills. This program provides training in technical areas that involve more significant professional judgment, like auditing fair value and evaluating exceptions. DAS Audit Level 5 also helps participants build important professional development skills, such as leading teams through change and providing effective feedback.

• Lead the team in creating sufficient, appropriate audit evidence by evaluating exceptions, ensuring clear risk linkage in DAS, and applying professional skepticism to complex areas requiring significant judgment, including fair value measurements and the use of a specialist.
• Create a plan to utilize the DAS data lifecycle (including AFD, RTD, and the Transaction Portal) to inform risk assessment and audit planning decisions.
• Design an effective engagement planning meeting and utilize creative problem-solving approaches to shift from executing audit work to leading and shaping it.
• Integrate research-based feedback and change management techniques to lead teams through organizational change and deliver written and verbal feedback that supports staff development and audit quality.
